Friction drive
In our standard version the friction drive "EMR" is driven by electricity. Power can be supplied by trailing cable, bus bar, battery or any other electrical source. A frequency converter allows a variable speed of the asynchronous motors.
The friction wheels are spring-loaded so that always sufficient friction can be transferred to the monorail. A multiple disc braking system delays the device reliably. The simple yet robust design ensures steady operation at an easy maintenance.
